Solving Equations
Solving an equation is a logic puzzle with one rule: whatever you do to one side, do to the other. Students develop the habit of keeping equations balanced as they apply inverse operations. Two-step equations require a strategy — undo the addition or subtraction first, then the multiplication or division.
